Project description

Located in the village center on a steeply sloping site, the Family Center brings together a car park, a nursery and community facilities in a monolithic structure anchored in the ground. Each function occupies a floor forming three terraced layers. The volume is set beneath the forecourt of the neighboring church in order to preserve views and its integration into the landscape. Double-height colored light wells illuminate the core of the plan and widen the circulation areas. The tinted concrete structure and wood-concrete floor slabs are organized on an open, rational and adaptable plan.
