Project description

The project brings together a school complex, an intergenerational restaurant and a multipurpose cultural center including a media library, workshops and a performance hall. Located on either side of a street in a wooded valley, the buildings follow the slope and the alignment of the road. The terraced layout and the green roofs, extended by wide overhangs, create strong horizontal lines in the landscape. Cross natural ventilation and vertical sun-breakers improve summer comfort, a key issue in a Mediterranean climate.
