Project description

This workshop, organized as part of the second edition of the Île-de-France Architecture and Landscape Biennial, explores the potential of a basic wooden frame construction system using standard sections (2400x60x60mm). The prefabrication and assembly of manually transportable panels shape the form, while a translucent plastic film encloses the spaces. Varied sequences, consisting of open-air pieces, emerge within this ambiguous architecture, part-labyrinth, part-scaffolding. A poetic chance, the installation enters into dialogue with the facades under renovation in the Cour de la Maréchalerie.
