Perspective view of the Tectoniques architects’ nursing home in Auxerre, showing a symmetrical, four-storey timber-clad volume forming a U-shaped plan around a central forecourt. The two lateral wings frame a recessed, fully glazed central body that marks the main entrance and common areas, with vertical and horizontal mullions structuring the façade. The upper levels feature regular window bays set in a rhythmic grid of vertical cladding, while broad roof overhangs emphasize the horizontal lines of the building. In the foreground, a straight pedestrian axis leads to the entrance, bordered by low concrete benches, planted swales, and a mix of grasses, shrubs, and scattered rocks, creating a landscaped transition between public space and the healthcare facility.
