Project description
The facility is located in the city centre of Vaulx-en-Velin, where a major transformation process began in the 1990s. It brings together a programme shared by the neighbouring secondary and higher education institutions, including the school of architecture, while remaining open to the general public. The building expresses this openness to the city and the diversity of uses through a simple form, both monumental and domestic. A woven beam structure creates a square grid that frees up the floor plan.
