Project description
Located on the edge of the Le Bourget sports park, the Jacqueline Auriol and Jean Jaurès school complexes form two U‑shaped buildings, loosely symmetrical, positioned on either side of a shared forecourt that creates a new entrance to the park. Nursery and elementary schools occupy separate wings, connected by the covered playgrounds and the cafeteria arranged around the courtyards. The outer façades in coloured glazed terracotta differentiate the buildings, while on the courtyard side, timber façades articulate the structural frame beneath wide protective roof overhangs. Inside, the regular grid of the floor slabs creates clear, adaptable spaces.
