Simone Veil Early Childhood Center in Albertville
Project description
The Children’s House in Albertville, the first stage of an ANRU project, embodies a strong commitment to early childhood. Compact, open, and sustainable, it combines nurseries, a leisure center, and a school canteen. The building enhances views of the Alpine massifs, preserves the ground with 4,000 m² of green spaces, and smartly combines wood, concrete, and metal. Its coppery metallic skin makes it a strong visual landmark. The interior architecture, with exposed wood bathed in natural light, creates a gentle, ergonomic, and adaptable atmosphere, designed for children.
