Simone Veil Early Childhood Center in Albertville
Project description
The Maison de l’Enfance in Albertville is the first stage of an ANRU project. It brings together a nursery, a leisure center and a school restaurant. Compact and deep, the building preserves the ground and enhances views of the Alpine massifs. A copper-toned metal envelope modulates the perception of the volume. Inside, large openings frame the landscape and provide abundant natural light. The exposed structure supports adaptable spaces scaled to children.
