Project description

The housing development forms the first component of an urban project located between the town and the Vercors. Designed as intermediate housing, it combines owner-occupied and social housing within a consistent architectural whole, with no distinction in appearance or use. Arranged as small stepped blocks on the slope, the dense, compact buildings allow wide visual and physical continuity of the landscape and are organized around an open shared garden. The dwellings, dual-aspect and mostly duplex units, favour a domestic scale, simple layouts and access via external circulation.
