Renovation and Addition of an Upper Floor to an Office Building in Saint-Martin-Belle-Roche
The project adds a storey to a 1970s building in order to create new living space and improve thermal and acoustic insulation. A matte white timber-framed wall covers the east and north façades, with honey-stained timber window frames that showcase local resources and add warmth. The independent timber-framed addition echoes the existing composition while introducing a subtle shift in rhythm and depth, energising the building’s appearance and unifying its architectural style with the neighbouring bungalows.
