Nursing Home in Chambéry
The extension of the Chambéry hospital provides 80 beds for dependent elderly residents. The T-shaped building optimises circulation and offers a residential living environment with large terraces opening onto gardens and views of the city and mountains. The concrete post-and-beam structure, façades clad in local timber battens, hemp insulation, green roofs and passive design ensure comfort, natural light, and energy efficiency. The architecture fosters both social interaction and privacy for residents and staff alike.
