55 Housing Units in Lyon
The housing project is part of the urban transformation of the Mermoz Nord joint development zone, a key element in the redevelopment of Lyon’s eastern gateway. The two buildings, of a manageable size, prioritise quality of life within a constrained urban environment: cross-through apartments or multi-aspect plans, naturally lit and ventilated circulation areas, generous terraces, and carefully designed entrance sequences. The complex, constructed using a combination of concrete, timber framing, and metal, features slender volumes, double penthouses, and rhythmic façades.
