Restructuring and Extension of a Mountain Lodge in Véranne
Project description
Located at an altitude of 1,235 metres, the Col de l’Œillon is a listed site in the heart of the Pilat regional natural park. The existing inn, long disused, is renovated to accommodate a restaurant and a mountain refuge, while the workshop is converted into a multipurpose hall. On the Crêt du Graland, a modular building by architect Ferdinand Fillod is restored as a high-altitude bar. The extensions continue and complete the existing structures to form compact, unified volumes oriented towards the wider landscape.
